As the last balcony feeding birds dwindle in number as the nesting season starts in earnest you can feel the seasonal change. New blossom on the trees, bugs in the air, ticks in the grass, and the longer days have just arrived.
The woodland residents prepare for their new arrives, Badger pups have already been born, the Foxes will soon follow. The sound of bird song has increase in the early morning and at dusk. All the parents working hard to feed themselves and their young and keep the energy levels up.
The Roe deer are losing their Winter coats amongst the new crops and Spring grass.
Also time for myself to change gear, getting up early, and going out later to catch the beautiful morning light and evening glow. Enjoy the unfolding of Spring and the opportunities it brings to enjoy the nature on my doorstep.
All of these events make this time of year a joy to capture, taking the time to prepare my gear, charge all my batteries, learn and improve my skills.
Embrace nature, and be a creator of stories and memories throughout the seasons.
